    Beschreibung

    Poirot wird von Lady Chatterton gebeten, ein Auge auf ihre Freundin Marguerite Clayton zu haben, die sich von ihrem Mann bedroht fühlt. Kurz darauf wird dessen Leiche in einer spanischen Truhe in der Wohnung von Major Rich entdeckt, der sich sehr um Marguerite bemühte. Pikanterweise muss die Leiche bereits in der Truhe gelegen haben, während Major Rich im gleichen Raum eine Party ausgerichtet hat.
