Beschreibung
Die Leiche von Connie Briggs, einem Talent in der Rollerderby-Szene, wird nach einer heftig umkämpften Begegnung in der Umkleidekabine gefunden. Bei der Untersuchung kommt ein wichtiges Detail zu Tage: Die Rollschuhfahrerin ist nicht an einer Verletzung aus dem Spiel gestorben, sondern wurde bereits vor Anpfiff so schwer misshandelt, dass sie später den Folgen der Schläge erlag. Der Körper der Toten weist außerdem ältere Verletzungen auf. Horatio muss bald feststellen, dass er viele Verdächtige hat.
