      Beschreibung

      Sex und Kino, das sind die einzigen Abwechslungen, die das Leben den Halbwüchsigen Sonny und Duane in ihrem texanischen Nest der frühen Fünfziger bietet. Allein von dem alten Sam fühlen sich die beiden verstanden. Er ist der Besitzer des einzigen Kinos der Stadt. Mit seinem Tod verlieren Sonny und Duane ihr letztes Symbol von Abenteuer und Freiheit, den letzten Pionier des amerikanischen Traums.
