    Beschreibung

    Der Atlantische Ozean bedeckt mit 106 Millionen Quadratkilometern rund ein Fünftel der Erde. Unter der Wasseroberfläche erstreckt sich eine geheimnisvolle Unterwasserwelt, in die zahlreiche Schiffe und Flugzeuge herabgesunken sind. Warum ist das so? Gibt es eine plausible wissenschaftliche Erklärung für diese ungeheure Vielzahl von Havarien und Katastrophen? Die Dokumentation begleitet Tauchexpeditionen auf der Suche nach den Wracks in finstere und bislang unerforschte Bereiche der Tiefsee. Anhand einer 3D-Karte wird zudem das berühmt-berüchtigte Bermudadreieck genauer untersucht.
