Louise DeBolt Jackson ist eine steinreiche, in ganz Hawaii bekannte Society Lady. Sie liebt extravagante Auftritte und große Partys. Das Hobby allerdings, bei dem Louise das größte Engagement zeigt, ist das Nachstellen von weltberühmten Verbrechen. Thomas Magnum wird von der Dame für eines ihrer bizarren Rollenspiele gebucht, um dem Ganzen ein reales Flair zu geben. Doch leider kommt es während dieser Inszenierung tatsächlich zu einem Mord...
