Nach anderthalb Jahren Bauzeit und 35.000 Arbeitsstunden steht die Eröffnung des bisher detailreichsten Abschnitts des Miniatur Wunderlandes bevor. Jetzt zieht sich der Canale Grande der Lagunenstadt mit 200 Gondeln und Booten durch Hamburgs Speicherstadt. Baukosten für die neun Quadratmeter: 1 Millionen Euro. Noch ist nicht alles fertig für die Eröffnung, das Team muss nochmal richtig ranklotzen.
