    Beschreibung

    Schauspieler Rick Dalton gehört nach mehreren größeren Rollen Ende der 60er-Jahre nicht mehr zur ersten Riege in Hollywood. Gemeinsam mit seinem wortkargen Stunt-Double Cliff Booth sucht Dalton nach einem Weg, bei den Produzenten wieder ins Gespräch zu kommen. Als der aufstrebende Star-Regisseur Roman Polanski in die direkte Nachbarschaft zieht, wittert der einstige Leinwandheld die Chance, seiner Karriere einen Schub zu verschaffen...
