The guests are faced with questions from members of the public and invited to give their opinions. Since Question Time was first broadcast in 1979, it has welcomed onto its panels countless Members of Parliament and other notable guests including well-known journalists, actors, authors, comedians, business and religious leaders. It has given key insights into important topics and prompted necessary discourse.
