Beschreibung

Der übergewichtige Kurier-Fahrer Doug Heffernan liefert täglich Pakete aus. Seine Frau Carrie arbeitet als Rechtsanwalt-Gehilfin. Ihr Vater Arthur bezieht ihre Keller-Wohnung. Doug wirkt unbeholfen, lebt unbekümmert, isst zu viel und begeht oft Dummheiten. Carrie ist die Vernünftige in der Familie, mitunter von Selbst-Zweifel geplagt und streitsüchtig wie ihr Vater, der dazu noch sehr stur ist. Der Alltag in dieser Familie verläuft oft turbulent.
