Beschreibung
Der als "Hollywood Ripper" und "Chiller Killer" bekannte Michael Gargiulo stammt aus Illinois, wo er seine Nachbarin erstach. 2001 stach er 47-mal auf Ashley Ellerin in ihrem Haus in Hollywood ein. Im Dezember 2005 erstach Gargiulo seine Nachbarin in ihrem Haus in El Monte, Kalifornien. Auf sie wurde 17-mal eingestochen. 2008 versuchte Gargiulo, eine andere Nachbarin zu ermorden. Gargiulo wurde wegen der beiden Morde in Kalifornien und des Mordes in Illinois angeklagt, konnte jedoch nicht mit anderen Morden in Verbindung gebracht werden. Die Ermittler gehen jedoch davon aus, dass es weitere Opfer gab.
